Under the acronym QUEST (QUick Earthquake Survey Team; https://quest.ingv.it/) works a team of experts dedicated to the post-earthquake macroseismic survey that has the task of providing, quickly and univocally, the picture of the effects in the area affected by a seismic event. The DFM is a vast online photographic archive consisting of photographs of the effects of the earthquake on buildings, artifacts and on the environment that are the result of a long activity of investigations and macroseismic surveys from approximately the end of 70s of last century.
